RARE PROMO HAS TURNED UP

The guy who runs http://www.soulandfunkmusic.com - the longstanding and ultimate guide to soul and funk, has recently started a blog called Real Chocolate, where he publishes some quality mixes. I was surprised to find that in his latest mix he included a track taken from an extremely rare promo of my own music from several years back. It's a mystery how that CD has ended up in one of his local shops, but I'm flattered by the inclusion. It's a track I recorded together with a fellow Swedish DJ and producer called More-10, who among other things recorded a track with group Advanced Patrol that got some airing on MTV Nordic some years ago. He has mainly worked with hip-hop artists, me being one of the first male R&B vocalists to record in his studio. The address of the blog is http://real-chocolate.blogspot.com and here is the playlist with my tune being tracklisted as number 10:

1. Myleka - Confess - 1988
2. David Peaston - Two Wongs - 1989
3. Marva - Freedom - 1993
4. Wayne Marshall - Love Life Satisfaction - 1994
5. Daryl West - Nasty - 1996
6. Natalie Cole - Azz Iz - 1983
7. Larry Graham - Sooner Or Later - 1982
8. The Impressions - Sooner or Later - 1975
9. Micki Murphy - Hometown Lover - 19
10. Melismo - Come Back (promo) - 2006
11. Crackin' - Heavenly Day - 1978
12. Switch - Keep Movin' On - 1980
13. John White - Victim - 1987
14. ML - You Turn Me on - 1993

If anyone is interested in "Come Back" or would like to hear more of my old recordings, feel free to contact me and I can offer more "blasts from the past"...lol...from the time when I was not only a dj but also a performing artist.

Peace and love
